Positive thinking.
I'm trying to stay positive
I'm trying to be happy
despite my life lately
being generally crappy.
I've had a go at whistling
and singing happy songs
but no matter what I do
it all keeps going wrong.
But until they nail the lid down
and load me on the hearse
I will carry on believing
things could always be much worse.

I will make sure your photos are properly acknowledged so that nobody mistakes any of the ones I've included which are mine for yours.
That way everyone will know yours are the really good photos and the so-so ones which fit but don't technically cut the mustard are mine.

I'm glad it was what you wanted.
Good lines, to my ear it still wants for an even blunter finish. I would like to see something really dark after the last verse because if you read it without knowing your situation one is left wondering: worse than what? Or maybe that’s the point?

Pro I've tried replying once & the internet ate it - so here's hoping this one *takes*
I try to leave blanks for the reader to fill in for themselves. That way a poem which meant one thing can mean other things to other people. Sometimes I come back to poems and they speak quite differently with a few months or years gone by. Some of them have been creepily predictive in ways I had no inkling about when writing them.
