What I would say to my sixteen year old self.
Hello me, I'm you.
You have to go through
what you will go through.
Because everything you are
and everything you'll be
begins with you
and leads to me.
And after all you do's
been well said and done
you can look back
on what was hard
and what was fun.
And none of it was wasted
and through all of it you'll learn;
Which gifts me with the strength
to face my future in its turn.
