I woke up laughing. Must have slept funny.
I am "Banana the Poet" living on the beautiful Greek island of Kefalonia.
My main poetic influences are: Hilaire Belloc, Spike Milligan, the British Limerick, BBC Radio Comedy, and Ronnie Barker.
My main inspiration seems to come from articles in the Daily Mail and the internet.

It nearly would work as that poem except for the last but one line.
I sort of wish it had been that now.
It can be a secret sub-poem from now on.
It's funny how people read different things into poems - I wrote one about terminal illness but people have read it as a romantic love poem - and one I wrote about t more…

We had our Halloween film night last night because that was when the guests could make it.
We watched - Dead and Loving It!
Tonight we watched The Matrix - which is creepy in its own way.
